The Civil Defense Division at the Presidency of the University of Karbala, in cooperation with the College of Law, organized a specialized training course on “Safety and Civil Defense”, presented by Lieutenant Colonel in the Civil Defense Directorate in Karbala, Maitham Ali Hussein, and Major Firas Sadiq.
The three-day course targeted employees and students to enhance their awareness of safety skills and dealing with emergency incidents.
The course included theoretical lectures and practical exercises on accident prevention mechanisms and methods of dealing with fires, in addition to evacuation plans during fires with the aim of enabling participants to apply safety standards in their homes and workplaces.
